Announcement of Stopping Accepting Applicants for Special Course for Piano Technician’s Training

We announce that special course for piano technician’s training will stop accepting applicants from 2018 academic year.

This course was established in 1951 and has produced over 500 great piano technicians. We are the sole educational institution for studying advanced piano technique among four-year music colleges in Japan, and have received a high evaluation for a long time.

Though this traditional education will end by March 2019, we established  “keyboard instrument technical course” two years ago and the course is open for students over third-year undergraduate. Thus our traditional education for producing piano technicians is firmly succeed to educational research in undergraduate.

Finally, we are grateful to all graduates and people who understand our education and support for producing piano technicians. We sincerely hope your continuing supports.
